Sergey Lovtsov

• Physics; Lomonosov Moscow State University (1969–1975);
• Postgraduate programme of the Russian State Institute of Intellectual Property;
• Ph.D. in Law (2004).

• From 1980 to 1994, Sergey Lovtsov worked in the USSR Patent and Trademark Office, in the USSR State Committee for Inventions and Discoveries (Department of Discoveries). He was Head of the Department of Science and Technology of the USSR State Committee for Inventions and Discoveries. In 1994, Sergey Lovtsov founded YUS and has headed the company to this date.

• International Trademark Association (INTA).

• In 2024 Sergey Lovtsov was included in the Individual rankings of lawyers held by Pravo.ru – 300 in the Intellectual property (protection of rights and litigation), Intellectual property (advising) and Intellectual property (prosecution) categories.
